I just got back from my European holiday 2 days ago. I'm still getting over the jet lag. I had a lot of fun, met some interesting people and managed to see some amazing art work. I'm really into Gustav Klimt's paintings at the moment. I also got to see some exhibitions of John William Waterhouse, Egon Schiele, and Alphonse Mucha's work.

These are from my sketchbook.Usually made when I had hangovers. I've also got a bunch of notes and sketches for some proper finished photoshop paintings that I want to make. These were very quick to make.

Been taking time away from photoshop. But I got some Neopiko markers the other day and they're really fun to use, so it's update time.

And I'm going off to London and other parts of Europe for a few months so expect updates to stay as frequent as they are right now. I'm going to try and have some fun. because my life is so hard. Drawing for a living, how does that even work?

Oil painting was hard. so I made this today instead. I feel much better having made this. My oil paintings look like a 10 year old made them. Plus, oil painting takes a lot of patience, so I don't see the point other than the money you can make from selling them.

This week I'm trying out oil paints for the fist time since I was a kid. I'm Almost all setup and ready. just need to do a little more research and get a few more supply's . Unless they are totally crap I'll post them up .

The styles are totally animatable in my opinion. The first one is kind of close to the style of an ad I just finished working on at Yukfoo.

Been playing in photoshop again.

My animation project is on hold until I finish an ad I'm working on at Yukfoo that is looking pretty cool at the moment. Could be a while, I might post some of the rough animation if I ever get around to it.

Took a break to play around with colours in photoshop. I ended up with this. The idea was to try removing every bit of line work that didn't describe form and see what that looks like. Looks nice.


And my 100th post might be the animated short I'm working on. I think I colored 110 frames of it over the last 3 days.
